Mass Production Started

Hello all,
We're happy to report that after approving our pre-production samples, mass production has begun! Our factory has advised that production should take until the end of April. As it takes several weeks for a shipment to reach us across the ocean and to get through customs, that puts fulfillment in late May/early June.
I'm hoping that my next update will be to tell you all that production has wrapped and our shipment has left the factory :) Thanks everyone!

Greetings backers,
We just returned from a great trip to China where we able to visit our printer and check in on the status of Penny Lane. There were two components we had only gotten to see in photos/videos before, so we were eager to see them! Those were of course the deluxe mayor meeple and the gilded tokens.

The factory is currently creating our PPC (pre-production copy) before moving along with mass. This is just a final check to make sure everything is just as it should be. We always think it's better to err on the side of caution in these case - no one likes errata or misprints! We hope to have the PPC by the end of the month. Production will likely take most of April, so we're currently estimating that fulfillment could occur in May - give or take a couple weeks this could bleed into June. We realize this is a little later than intended but hope you will be as impressed with the production quality as we were doing our visit!

This is just a friendly reminder that the BackerKit will be closing soon! Orders will be locked tomorrow, Thursday Feb. 14. It will not be possible to make changes to your order after this date, so please make sure your order is complete and your address is correct. Cards will be charged on Friday Feb. 15. Our factory is currently on break for Chinese New Year so there is not much news to report, but we are looking forward to getting our first off the line copy soon and wrapping mass production shortly thereafter. Thanks everyone!

BackerKit Closing Information

Greetings Backers,
As we are going through mass production, it is now time to think about closing down the BackerKit! BackerKit orders must be completed by Thursday, February 14 2018. If you late pledged in BackerKit, upgraded your order, or added any items to your order, cards will be charged on Friday, February 15 2018. If you pledged through Kickstarter and did not make changes to your order, you were already charged in Kickstarter, so there would not be any additional charges. Even still, you should check to make sure that your order is confirmed and your address has been updated. You can log into BackerKit here.
Please note that if your BackerKit is not completed by the deadline your order may be significantly delayed!

The Great Insert Saga of 2018 is drawing to a close :) The insert will be staying in the box. If you are inclined to throw it away, please recycle it if you are able. Due to the insert staying in the box, there will not be a custom interior box wrap.
